I'm living my dream everyday.
Universal Studios Singapore - July 2011 | Saturday, September 17, 2011 @ 10:39 PM

I had a really enjoyable outing with my loved ones at Universal Studios Singapore in July! :)
Moving on from my angsty post earlier in the morning...
Let me share with you about my trip to USS.
If I didn't remember wrongly, there are five different worlds within USS. The theme park is actually relatively small in size and can be covered entirely within a day! We made our entrance tickets worth their expensive price tags as we were there from morning till night :) It was really fun to frolick under the sun!

Jie and I!
Considering the thousands or hundreds of thousands of visitors who donned on the funky hats previously, it is rather unhygienic to wear them! But being our usual wacky selves, we couldn't care less about how icky it was to wear them on.

Looking ever inch of a clown here

I love my Country Bumpkin and Pharaoh Queen :)

Just a heads up for anyone who has yet to visit USS.
Do go on the HUMAN ride (RED) first as its the less scarier option between both rollercoaster rides. Obviously, we enjoyed the thrilling CYCLON ride better! I remember how safe I felt after I was all buckled up and awaiting takeoff. You can definitely count on our local management to deliver the best and safest experience! I love Singapore like no other :]

I love to prey on unsuspecting kids with my camera...
They might have had a brief "I-don't-want-to-be-your-friend-anymore moment.
Gorgeous architecture at every corner spelled endless photo opportunities for us!

Spot the joker?

Neo, if I didn't remember wrongly, we climbed to pose with the lion statues outside Takashimaya when we were younger. Did we?
Mission accomplished, joker!

KB bought for my sister a slushie because she <3 the bottle!
Awww...

Clowning around again :)

LUNCH BREAK!

Meet the largest pizza that has even been laid before my eyes. Quite delicious :D
It's definitely better to visit USS with more companions. At least you'll be able to share this hugeass pizza!

Spilling tummy boobies! (Y)
I have no idea if this employee is a man in disguise...

Waiting for the yummiest turkey leg that I've ever sank my teeth into...

The turkey leg at USS is a MUST-TRY. It is really mouth-watering delicious!
Oh, I told the cat "YUCKS, I HATE CATS" before the photo was taken.
The cat had a huge reaction to my words and he shot me a shocked glare. LOL, what?
It's not a sin to dislike cats in general! Furry feline...eeew.

Chewy <3 his dinosaur bottle to bits!
Haha, all these drink bottles that are sold in USS are more for keepsakes as they are overpriced but unique in their appearances.

GOLD DIGGERS

After exiting the themepark, we decided that we weren't done with clowning around.

Check out the brown chocolate paint stain on his berms! Very naughty.

KB bought for us the best popcorns in the world to share! They are made of awesomeness.

Garrett's caramel popcorns are soooooo delicious!

We stayed until the rides were closed and then headed to River Valley for a very late dinner!

Best albeit most expensive fish steamboat that I've had!
Thanks for the treat, Chewy.
I'd love to bring @jolynangyi, @the_loveacademy and @thechoseneo here to try my favourite sliced fish soup in SG!

I'm quite pleased that I managed complete a few tasks that I had in mind today. A stay-home Saturday is good for a change! Tomorrow, I'll be trudging outdoors early in the morning to conduct a face-to-face interview with an Aussie boss. Hehe, wish me luck! Quite excited to talk to him though I have yet to come up with a list of interview questions. Sometimes, I feel that preparing a list of questions beforehand actually restrict the flow of a conversation. Still, this is no excuse to show up unprepared...
Also, I'm looking forward to hanging out with HRM tomorrow!
When I think of him, I'm reminded of his weird one-liners and our 630am jogging dates in the past.
Enjoy your Sunday guys!
Love, Serene
