Thank you for letting me have the last word, even at times when I did not deserve it :)
Just a tribute to my loving boyfriend, whom I hope will be reading this.
I guess every couple that has been together for a reasonably long period of time ought to reaffirm their feelings for each other from time to time. After all, the spark doesn't burn brightly at all times and it is easy to take each other for granted.
Like any other human being, I am flawed. I've been guilty of being demanding, selfish, willful, and spiteful as a lover - and my flaws don't end here. I reckon it beats having a lackadaisical attitude.
It takes someone special to be able to make you acknowledge your flaws. It is not easy for me to come to terms with them because I'm a person with a lot of pride and I hate to swallow my pride even when the situation calls for it.
One of the reasons why I love my boy to death?
He embraces my flaws and tries to change me into a better person. Honestly, I don't think there is someone else who will be able to tolerate my fiery temper when I'm mad, bother to listen to me when I argue incoherently and try to appease me when he's hurting on the inside.
Just like wine, I believe that our love gets better with time.
I love you, chewybaby.We've been warned about the tough journey that we'd face prior to your enlistment. We knew that our relationship would undergo many changes when I left to study overseas. Look how far we've come and look at where we are now. I'm looking forward to celebrate our 46th month together on the same day that you will be liberated from your army duties.
