I'm living my dream everyday.

Sometimes I still stare at you, amazed and absolutely enchanted. And even though I’ve held your gaze a thousand times, when you turn to me and give me that silly grin of yours, you still make me blush.

Hiiii guys!
I spent my first weekend home catching up with my family, J and his family :)
I was too lazy to lug my camera outdoors so both mine and everyone's mobile camera came in handy. I want an iPhone4 so that I can take photos with its front camera! Hopefully, iPhone5 will be released around the time I return to SG for good. As for now, I'm contented with editing the photos taken with my mobile using Instagram :D
Chewy the Cheapskate gave me a stalk of sunflower when he picked me up at the airport on Friday night. He admitted to being a cheapskate because this sunflower was part of his friend's birthday party decor. I appreciate his kind intention nonetheless... :*)
Knowing how much of a fruit lover I am, my Dad specially bought a variety of fruits to mark my return :*)

Dearest friends in Melbourne who are reading this, I don't mean to put you through this...

I went on a solo date with Daddykins on the second night home. Yes, you can call me Veronica Lodge... though I've always been on Team Betty Cooper. $2.50 for a satisfying bowl of century egg pork porridge. How is it possible that there are actually Singaporeans who snub hawker fare?

On Sunday, we had our belated Father's Day celebration at Royal China :) It was my second visit here and once again, I left the restaurant feeling immensely satisfied. It's one of my favourite places to yumcha here, besides Mongkok Dimsum (Geylang) and Goodwood Park hotel.
Their char siew pau was so fluffy and good. Besides this, their other must-try dishes include custard mango pau, char siew puff, har gao, chee cheong fun (combination), carrot cake, siew mai, egg tart, glutinous rice and century egg pork porridge. It's wiser to dine here with your family or a group of friends!
This isn't available in Melbourne. I'm gonna drink a bottle every morning! I love this drink, which is best consumed after a morning run :D
Jie and I went shopping around town after lunch! I had a fun time with her :) After all the endless walking, we rested our tired legs and shared a traditional Chinese dessert at a dessert house at FEP basement. My sister's appetite is...
Yayyyy, my new O.P.I shades!
J joined us outside Taka later in the evening.

Surprise, surprise! J is still able to fit into the shirt which he wore out on our first date a few years ago. Anyway, this is proof that you don't need to be decked out in designer wear to look presentable. From my unashamedly biased point of view, my boyfriend rocks a Giordano shirt the same way Beckham rocks an Armani shirt. Okay, J could do with fewer items in his pants pockets though...

I love this girl who dotes on me to death <3

J commented that I resemble Yvette in this photo! Heh, this is proof that I am WILLING to take photos with my left profile - it's just that I prefer not to because...I think this photo speaks for itself.

Hello, I don't mind posing for the camera with my frontal view too! :D
My sis and I joined J's family for dinner at Sushi Tei. Love how welcoming his parents are <3

Hello girls, I intend to wear my HOH bangle out often! I didn't bring it back to Melbourne with me in March and I missed wearing it loads. I'll be sure to bring it back with me this time round :)
Today, I accompanied my mom to Chinatown for lunch and helped her to lug some crystal stones home. Her definition of heavy is an underestimation of my bodily strength. My mom did a kind deed for a blind, old tissue-selling man today and I was touched by it. No matter how tight a financial situation you are in, there will always be someone who is having a rougher time than you. The thought of the poor blind elderly having to stand at the same spot for hours is a heart-wrenching one :( I'm a firm believer of the "Sharing is loving" notion. Who wants my underarm fats? Just kidding.

My all-time favourite local dish! YPMF :D
Bought a top from TE since there was an ongoing 40% sale, which ended yesterday.

This is a highly addictive snack and it is the reason why I'm feeling belly fat and heaty now D:
Omg what's the point of me bringing back so many snacks from Melbourne, only to consume them without sharing with my family?!?! Hope I'll snack less in the weeks ahead. Chronic binge-eating habit, you gotta go, thanks! D:

Dad brought home my favourite duck rice for dinner tonight :*)

One of the first things that I did upon arriving home was to check out the work that I've done during my internship. Anyway Estella, Liowch and Genn, I wanna draw your attention to the area which I've imprinted an heart shape on :)

Before I returned to SG, I made up my mind to spend more time with my family, especially since my parents are getting on in years. I feel somewhat guilty for neglecting them during my last summer break. So hopefully, they will be able to notice a change in me this time round and feel my lurrrrveeee.
I'm gonna celebrate an old friend's 21st birthday today. Feeling somewhat excited about it because it's been a couple of months since we met and she's a gem.
Happy Tuesday guys! God bless...
