Can a jumpsuit really work for everyone? Will it overwhelm a shorter frame?
Hi guys!
Winter is in full swing now and the biting cold is relentless when it's really windy and the sun is nowhere in sight. Well, fashion shouldn't be compromised for the weather. Okay, who am I kidding when I constantly wrapped up like a dumpling? I can't wait to escape the winter cold and bare more skin in my pretty dresses when I return to SG!

In this entry, I will review a lovely jumpsuit piece from Foggiare: Pleated jumpsuit in Navy :)
I chose the navy version of the jumpsuit for a change. However, it just dawned on me that my wardrobe is bursting with outfits in both navy and black! I gotta don on more outfits in vibrant colours when I'm home.
What I love about this jumpsuit? I love the leg-lengthening cut of the jumpsuit, which really helps to elongate my body. Do I look taller than my 1.65m frame? Well, the verdict is yours. Made from rayon material, there is no need to iron out any creases because there wouldn't be any in the first place. I love how smooth and comfy rayon is :) This jumpsuit comes with two side pockets, though I think it'd be wiser not to utilise these pockets if you're thinking of filling them with bulky items. Guess they will come in handy to contain your cards - not anything else thicker unless you wanna walk around with weird bumps around your thigh regions.
I love how versatile a jumpsuit is! You can jazz up the outfit with a lovely belt or make a statement with a chunky necklace. Obviously, I went with the latter and matched my jumpsuit in two different belted styles :)
L: My leopard-printed scarf from Supre doubled up as a belt. Fashion becomes fun when you improvise.
R: A brown, gold-studded belt for an extra dosage of chic!
O yes, it's smokey behind because the pool is heated during wintertime.

What you don't see in these pictures: My favourite gym at B's place that is situated beside the outdoor pool! Ok, irrelevant comment :D

Slip on a pair of strappy wedges to complete the look!
This jumpsuit is perfect for a cocktail party or a fine dining date. I would even wear it out on a shopping date, just because we girls do not need a special occasion to look dressier than how we normally do on an average day :)
Hello to my friends in Melbourne who are reading this, you gotta grab the latest issue of Dolly -ignore the fact that Miley Cyrus is the covergirl and we've outgrown its youthful content- because its freebie (BJ leggings) comes in the prettiest shade ever! The shade is probably best described as bluish-gray. It is so darn gorgeous! Please check it out because forking out $8.95 for a gorgeous pair of leggings with a $29.95 worth is too good a deal to resist!
Btw, any fans of Miley out there? Holler if you want the magazine...If not, I'll give it to a J2 girl in mind. Hope you're reading this, S! You'll probably enjoy this read :)
P.S. Thank you my dearest foodie partner-in-crime Miss Gao, for being my photographer.
I can't wait to blog about our foodie dates :) We have grand plans to start a food blog. Will share with y'all the blog link once it's up and running! In the meantime, good luck to all my mugging friends!
