Will the real slim shady please stand up?

Hiiii guys!

Hope you guys back home aren't suffering from Wednesday blues today! Did everyone catch the NDP on telly? I watched the live screening of our nation's 46th birthday celebration in Melbourne! Gotta applaud the creative director, Beatrice-Chia Richmond for being the brains behind such a wonderful, nostalgic and comical musical performance :) I enjoyed it tremendously!

Anyway, just a short update with some random photos from my phone because I gotta get back to my work in a minute. I uploaded these photos while having my dinner to maximise my leisure time :D

Bought four tops during my time as a tour guide with the girls! Hehe, I'm a big fan of prints and knitwear! I'm readyyyyy for spring! Why isn't it here yet? Just as well, I'll have more time to exercise and get back into shape! Yessss, I finally ran today after over three weeks of non-exercising!

Gifts from the girls to show their appreciation for my unexceptional tour guide stint.
Thanks babes! It's a greaaaat feeling to be appreciated :)

Before J left SG, I gave him a couple of photos that would remind him of home, because I assumed that he'd want a photo shrine -like what I have in my room- to brighten up his days at the hostel.

I thought this was really cute (ugly and adorable).
Actually, I laughed at him when he sent me this photo. I don't think he was expecting a compliment from me either! Honestly, I expected a better artistic sense from him. This all-over-the-place photo arrangement isn't to my liking! It's neither neat nor in a patterned sequence. No wonder they say men are from mars...I have a good mind to rearrange all the photos when I visit him :p

One of the nicest fruity gummies that I've ever tasted! Love it when the inner juice bursts in my mouth.
J's mom bought a few packets from The Cocoa Trees at the airport when we were sending him off and she gave me a packet. It's a pity that I only tried them after I returned to Melbourne! I'm doing some serious gummy-rationing now.

Twitter is a major distraction when I'm studying, but I love checking the relentless updates anyhow. Can someone say BUSYBODY?

I attended the NDP celebration in Melbourne with a few friends last night. The after-party music was quite good and I had a good time with everyone :) Can't wait to see the photos that were snapped with Gary's camera!

Painted my nails at Bernice's place before we headed out for the celebration event. I know what kinda nails I'll be sporting when I visit Tokyo's Disneyland! :)

Alrighty, it's time to do the dishes and get back to my work. Two more working and schooling days, hanggggg in there guys! I'm looking forward to have my favourite bagels for bunch and indulge in retail therapy tomorrow.

Have a terrific Thursday! God bless :)

♥ Serene
