I don't exactly agree with the quote above, because distance translates to absence, which is an existing obstacle for us. Anyway, there is no harm in being optimistic so yeahhhhh, distance is a beautiful reminder of what our love can overcome :) Happy 50th month baby! You're still the stud muffin, biggest glutton, silliest pea, most annoying prick, and fun-loving boy that I knew when we first met. This, I'm really thankful for.

Chewy: Studying...Time of my life.
Me: Nope...Story of your life.

Hehe.

It's such a warm night :( I just got out of bed to switch on the fan because I'm on the brink of perspiration. It feels sooooo good to have cool air blasting at me! In other equally unexciting news, I've finally finished watching a TW drama that I started watching a couple of weeks ago. It took me so long because I had to study for my first exam! I don't like taking too long to finish watching a drama because it means a longer wait to witness my desired happy ending! I'm a sucker for happy endings :) I'm not shy to admit that I really enjoy watching TW idol dramas, especially when the lead actor is such an eyecandy :D

Next up, I have a stack of DVDs to enjoy! Seven different movie titles to entertain me when I'm bored. A wave of guilt just washed over me...

Just came across a photo of someone's duck rice on Facebook. Zzz, I want my Jurong East duck rice with a braised egg and beancurd now!

SATURDAY

I brought Belle to Huff Bagelry for brunch. Obviously, she enjoyed her bagel :) No one leaves Huff Bagelry disappointed. I repeat, NO ONE.

We chatted for three hours over brunch! Haha, I hate to admit this but I think we do make a skillful pair of gossip mongers! Thereafter, we headed to Lux Bite for desserts! Gotta love hanging out with people who have a sweet tooth :)

One of their staff was spontaneous enough to pose with us for a photo. Such a sneaky pose from this cheeky staff!

Their macaroons are the talk of the town but their cakes/tarts taste even better!

We shared between us their Chocolate banana tart and Caramel craving. It's a tough choice to decide which tasted better. Both were so yummy!!! I'm definitely heading back here again before I leave Melbourne for good! There is really so many things to love about this place. For starters, their service staff are so thoughtful and helpful :)

SUNDAY

Camberwell flea date with Saki san! :)
Thereafter, we headed to QVM because I needed to buy kangaroo skin for my mom. She likes to place it on the sofa, and the same goes for her sheep skin. This is the third kangaroo skin I bought for her this year....I inherited my greedy genes from my mama.

Lunch at my favourite Korean restaurant with Saki and Belle

Tofu, prawns, musrooms, mussels, clams and egg casserole...It was quite spicy.
We all downed a lot of water during lunch. Hehe, but spicy is good. Oh, we were in luck because we (Belle & mine) were served our favourite side dish! THE EGGPLANT. Oriental Spoon doesn't serve this side dish all the time. During my previous few visits, I didn't get to savour it! Hehe, happppyyyyy! I like it as much as their kimchi!

Spotted this quote at a Dotti outlet and it couldn't be any further from the truth. Haha right, what a blatant lie. This quote really resonates with me...I know that many of you can vouch for it and no, I'm not proud of it. Haha, I can vouch for you, Miss Neo.

Saki was so sweet to fold for me these animals! Origami is indeed a brilliant paper-folding art craft invented by the Japanese :) It's quite easy to make out what these animals are, isn't it? I'm impressed because she folded the fish and bird with two different coloured papers! Yay, thank you Saki!

Have a great week ahead guys!  My life this week is gonna revolve around exercising, slacking, trying to get into the mood to study, and hopefully *fingers crossed* studying!

Such is the life of a student.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! This will be the last year that I'm absent from your birthday celebration. I will love you forever and a day!

P.S Hate is a strong word, but I really, really, really don't like you.

Time to hit the sack!
Let's all have the sweetest dreams tonight, wherever you are in the world right now.

Love,
Serene
