I'm living my dream everyday.

We're exactly where we're supposed to be ♥
It's our 51st monthsary today!
In retrospect, we have had our fair share of ups and downs and witnessed several transitions through the different chapters of our lives. To date, I'm glad that our lives and dreams are still very much entwined :*)
Love is a really amazing thing because it teaches you how to compromise for the sake of accommodating your partner's wishes, and fills you with so much hope for the future. I mean, isn't it amazing how fast one's anger tantrum diminishes with a simple apology? On the other hand, it is amazing how fast my blood boiled at times when J stepped on my toes. I seem to have the biggest heart for him yet the lowest tolerance level towards him. Love is a really peculiar thing. Anyhow, I love you, Chewy!
Although you might not read this entry or skim through the text because it's too lengthy, I will not take it to heart :p
We prepared brunch together today! Actually, I did 80% of the preparation *coughs* because J was doing what he does best as a sloth (READ: COMPUTER GAME). I was boiling the eggs when he popped his head into the kitchen and demanded that he wanted poached eggs and not hard-boiled eggs (no-brainer for me). Thus, he immediately removed the eggs from the boiling water and carefully removed their shells...It must be his lucky day today! The eggs turned out poached style!!! :) For me, I'm not as fussy about my eggs because I love eggs of all kinds! Give me a fat egg yolk with its whites and I'll be satisfied.
It was a cheesy brunch for us! :)
This is my brunch platter filled with heaps of healthy greens! I've been feeling so unhealthy lately because J has taken his meat-eating habits to extreme lengths! I miss eating my boiled veggie & carrots...

Yesterday, J & I dropped by Uni Melb for Belle's convocation!
Gorgeous flowers from her family and loved ones! You're indeed very blessed babe :)

Haha, Belle didn't want to pull a funny expression on her face initially...
I'm so happy for you babe! Congrats once again :)

Hogwarts alert!
In my opinion, J's university campus is still the finest-looking campus (ala Hogwarts style too) that I've ever visited! I'll share photos of his campus soon :)

Anyway, it's interesting to note that Uni Melb graduates are not given the graduation hat unless they graduate with Masters/PHD. I don't know what's the rationale behind this...

Thereafter, we had dinner with ZY, Bernice, Kai, and Gary at Oriental Spoon, which marked the final visit to my all-time favourite Korean restaurant in Melbourne before I head home :)
Beef & mushroom casserole :)
This is worth a try! I enjoyed it as much as their tofu and seafood casseroles.

COMMONER'S FOOD!!!
I didn't mean to kick up a big fuss but I really can't fathom why people would splurge nearly $40 on a casserole that consists of such cheap ingredients?! Think luncheon meat, sausage, cheese and best yet, instant noodles...
Okay guys, now y'all know what not to order when we dine together at a Korean restaurant. As much as I appreciate how delicious mushrooms and sausages are...I don't fancy paying so much for COMMONER'S FOOD. Haha, just gotta reiterate that it's CF.

Dukbokki!
It's actually one of the nicer versions I've had in Melbourne! This definitely beats Korchi's dubokki dish hands down :)
ZY raved about Oriental Spoon's fried chicken but we all felt that Silkroad's (Carnegie) version tasted better! Ang, are you missing the yummy fried chicken you had at Silkroad?

After dinner, we headed to the arcade at Crown to play Bishi Bashi! I conclude that I'm really bad at arcade games. Gone were my hey days...Haha, as if there were any to begin with :p Oh, I suck badly at air hockey too...If it's any consolation, Bernice is just a tad better at it than I am. The guys were laughing themselves silly at us because we were capable of conceding goals without a single touch from them, which saw the hockey disc flying rapidly to the sides of the table and across to their side, only to fly back into our own goal. #failuremaximum
Big bosses chilling at the casino. It's amusing that they had the same sitting stance...

Sigh, it's time to pack before exercise time with Chewy. I have so much packing to do today :( Headache attack!
Two more days till I see Daddykins (Archie comics, I miss you) and Jie!
Home beckons eight days later :)
Love, Serene
