I'm living my dream everyday.
Am I a Pancake Snob? | Thursday, February 17, 2011 @ 12:01 AM
A celebration of love and friendship :)
Although the photos may appear otherwise, J actually incurred my wrath during our walk to PS. He was being impossible. All I requested was for one nice photo but he went about snapping away with my camera, even after I had walked away! Don't you girls just hate it when your boyfriend can't perform such a simple task properly? Haha, of course I'm not sharing those photos of me walking away, or of my back view, or even of myself looking irritated for that matter. J chew, no one is going to bother you to take photos for the next four months or so! Will you be happier then? :(
Is it just J or do SG boys enjoy taking ugly candid shots of their girlfriends? I would rather stick to my posed candid shots anytime. Yes posed candid shots, oh the irony! Here is J's reply when I complain that the shot has been distastefully shot (meaning my face would give King Kong a run for its money on the silver screen) - "But this is how you really look!"
Right.

It is not difficult to guess who the latecomer was on Valentine's Day...

Loving everyone's shoes!
STRICTLY PANCAKES
We got to choose between rum&raisin butter or garlic herbs butter to go along with our pancakes.

Meet Shirlyn, my best friend's brother's girlfriend! Don't you agree that she has a lovely pair of peepers that smile along with her infectious smile? :)
This is such a gorgeous shot of my happy girls :)
Call me kiasu but I have already set a date with Shirlyn to shop with her for her JC prom dress! Also, I offered to doll her up - only if she has enough faith in me to be her makeup artist. I have never played BIG SISTER to anyone before so I can't wait :) In the meantime, study hard dearie. You can call me Chai-jiejie if you wish to. Alright, I'm kidding. Just don't call me chai ba jie, which is J's moniker for me. It doesn't even sound like 猪八戒. At least chew ba jie sounds more like it, don't you think? Anyway, my moniker came around after he got sick of me calling him chew ba jie, which he never fails to respond to anyway...
Call me a pancake snob but having tried the awesome possum pancakes at Pancake Parlour and Pancakes On The Rocks, I feel that the pancakes at SP certainly paled in comparison. Save for the yummy garlic buttered prawns, the other pancakes dishes that we tried were just passable.
All in all, there is nothing much to rave about except for the awesome and chatty company, which I'm thankful for :)
