I'm living my dream everyday.

Two hearts, two hearts that beat as one.
Our lives have just begun

The past Sunday was a wonderful one.

It started out with a nice lunch at Chinatown with my parents. If there is something that I'm consciously aware of all the time, it'd be to leave no room for regrets. I don't want my life to revolve solely around J or my girlfriends at the expense of my parents' happiness.

It is really difficult to juggle my busy schedule as my internship takes up the earlier part of the day during the weekdays. So, I have to decide how I would spend my weekday evenings after I knock off from work. I have three best friends - all of whom I love to spend time with. I can't get enough of them. Besides them, I try to make time for old friends whom I've not caught up with for the longest time. And I thought this three-and-a-half months summer break would be adequate to catch up with everyone. Apparently, not. I am feeling somewhat frustrated because there are friends whom I really want to hang out with on a regular basis but I look at my packed schedule and can't find an available time to meet them. Am I doing something wrong here? I am so terribly sorry if I am.

After lunch, my parents dropped me off at vivo, where I spent the next two-and-a-half hours shopping alone. Something gorgeous caught my eyes as they scanned through the racks at Topshop! So with the gift card that I received from Faster Goh on my birthday, I bought a pair of high-waisted jeans. 50% savings! :] Thanks babe, your gift came in handy! Since two years ago, Chong was already encouraging me to purchase a pair of high-waisted jeans. Yes, it took me so long to finally lay my hands on one.

I just wanna share that high-waisted jeans helps to elongate your legs like no other! The most flattering cut would probably be one with a flare bottom, paired together with a pair of wedges. However, I have no confidence to pull off the 70s look so I'm not gonna experiment with it anytime soon.

So after a therapeutic round of shopping while waiting for J to be done with his Sweat & Surf event, my sun-baked gingerbread boy finally appeared and we headed back to his place.

Tired J

Later in the night, I joined his family for dinner at 136 -a HK cuisine restaurant located at Chinatown- which serves yummy fried salted egg pork ribs, fishhead steamboat and fried tofu basket among many other nice dishes on its menu.

It was a simple yet wonderful Sunday spent with both my families - the one I was born into and the one that I've been blessed to have met.

Black Swan: I rate it a 5/5! A must-watch movie, this is Natalie Portman's breakthrough role since embarking on her career as a movie star. Save for the gory, messy bits when she was lured over to the dark side, there are so many reasons to be blown away by her exceptional performance. Her dance choreography is anything but simple and she probably starved herself silly -while undergoing intensive ballet training for months- to achieve that lean physique. Somebody give her an Oscards award already! She's tipped to win it anyway :)

The Rebound: I rate it a 3.5/5! Catherine Zeta-Jones is such a hot, sexy mommy who ages so gracefully. This is your typical romantic comedy that will surely tug at your heartstrings, as it show how love happens at the right timing. J should have known better than to choose a movie that features a cheeky boy character. As such, he had to put up with my constant squeals of "SO CUTE!" throughout the movie.

Haha, what am I now? A movie reviewer?

My housemate-to-be and arguably Grey's Anatomy biggest fan, Ness, suggested to me that I should review Grey's when I continue with S2 (Yes, I'm this WOLS) after I return to Melbourne. Who in the world would want to read reviews of yesteryear episodes? Hahaha, she's one silly pea. That being said, I might do it...

Have a great week ahead guys!
