GENESIS


First and foremost, thank you Qixin for designing this blog layout -reminiscent of my previous layout at Wordpress- in such a short notice. I really love the end product of a clean cut layout :)

On Thursday night, my blog vanished without a trace. Apparently, the server which I hosted my blog on had exceeded its bandwidth, and thus got shut down.

It's a bittersweet feeling, really.

As disappointed as I am over the sudden disappearance of my blog, I am excited to share my life with you guys again on this new space - back where I first discovered my love for blogging. I would liken this kind of excitement to that of a kid who is attending her first day of school at a nursery.

After all, my blog has been a virtual platform to keep every concerned friend in the loop about the daily happenings in my life while I was studying in Melbourne. In many ways, the knowledge of having friends who bothered to keep up with my life -while I was miles away from home and missing out on a huge part of theirs- was a comforting one. It warmed my heart to wake up to a comment from an old friend on a cold, wintry morning.

Like my previous blog, this blog will be F-centric: family, friends, food and fashion. 

That being said, I hope that this blog will serve me well for a long time. Thanks to all my dearest friends who have followed me through my previous few blog transitions :)

P.S. The photo collage was put together in a hurry. I hope that you guys will like your faces in it!
