"Graduation day is tough for adults. They go to the ceremony as parents. They come home as contemporaries. After twenty-two years of child-raising, they are unemployed."

Erma Bombeck

Yesterday was one of the most memorable days in my life because it marked my achievement of a new milestone :) I'm really glad to have graduated from Monash! Many thanks to every friend who has walked with me through this journey and new friends whom I've met during my two years in Melbourne. Thanks to everyone who has shared with me my joy!

Gotta thank my Dad (and Mom) for his unwavering faith in me and supporting me financially and verbally! I truly hope that I made him proud :) Also, thank you jie for always being there and offering me your listening ear even we were thousands of miles apart.

Chewyyyy!
He bore the brunt of my anger and frustrations whenever the going got tough... Thanks for your support, endless encouragements and utmost patience :) Although I'm dreading having to bear the brunt of your anger and frustrations in the next two years, I'll do my best to accommodate them :)

Ang & Neo!
Thanks for being my best friends and holding on tight to our friendship throughout these two years.  I'm really glad that our friendship has survived the test of distance and time :) Thank you for your handwritten notes and the cutest graduation bear, which I will bring along with my graduation scroll, so that we can take many threesome photos together :) Angsie, bring yours too!

Special thanks to Bernice!!! Love you heaps cupcake. You have made a huge difference in my student life and thank God I found you! I will always remember our good, crazy, silly, and auntie-like times in Melbourne. I'll be back someday to sit the simulator ride with you at Crown! <3

Gonna keep this entry short and sweet because we are setting out soon on our second road trip in three days! READ: FATIGUE!!!

As cliche as this may come across, I couldn't have done this without the support from you guys! Thank you to everyone who has made a difference and touched my life during these two years...

LOVE Y'ALL HEAPS!!!

I'll be home in two days' time! See y'all soon!

Love, Serene
