I'm living my dream everyday.
Let it fill my soul and drown my tears | Sunday, April 17, 2011 @ 4:22 PM
Hi, my name is Serene and I doodle in class when my journ lecturer leaves me bored to tears. I love to doodle abstract art because it allows my imagination to run wild, simply by drawing the first image that comes to mind. I would like to doodle on blank canvases and hang 'em paintings in my house someday. I wish to doodle abstract art of human objects but they often end up looking like cartoon characters or aliens.
I swear I'm going crazy if I don't give myself a break from my assignments. My brains are bursting with a massive amount of information and worries. I've been an unreasonable woman the entire week, subjecting J (and maybe some of you awesome girls) to my terrible mood swings. I'm sorry :*( I hope that things will get better soon. After all, Easter break is round the corner. I hate talking about my problems in a faraway land. I miss my family and J very much. I hate writing news stories in a foreign land, period.
Shall share with y'all photos that I've uploaded on Instagram (follow me if you have the app, my username is serenechai) recently. Best photo-enhancing and sharing app ever!
This necklace was a gift from Genny, and one of the few necklaces that I haven't lost after awhile.
Dim sum @ Tai Pan today
These balls are bigger than my palms and they sure were delicious.

Never knew that three medium-sized potatoes could amount to such a heavy portion when they are all mashed up.

Love my havs so much that I can't bear to wear them out of the house. I have big feet, comparable to some guys... How embarrassing.

Favourite lip balm ever. I'm never switching to another brand for lip balm.

Ok, back to the grim reality.
This paper qualification better be worth the mental and emotional torture.
If you're a Monash kid reading this, hang in there... We are all suffering.
If you're a NUS/NTU/SMU kid reading this, good luck for the final rush of projects and exams that follow.
If you're already working and love your career, know that I'd very much like to trade places with you.
On a happier note, this is probably my most productive weekend thus far this sem.

Take care everyone! Blogging is such a good distraction from assignments.
