走一步又一步我才發現繞了個圈
走了好幾年又回到原點
世上最殘酷的恐怕是時間
困住人一切卻還向前
Hiiii guys!
I'm currently taking a long break from my essay writing D:
Some recent happenings...
Sunday brunch with Xingying at Hardware Societe

The restaurant was packed and we were seated at a long wooden dining table, alongside many other patrons after fifteen minutes of waiting.
Although it was a little inconvenient for us to chat, the friendly service from its staff definitely made up for it.

Hehe, the staff mixed one of our drink orders and served XY the soy latte instead of her normal latte. I asked her if it was good and she said that there was hardly any hint of coffee flavour! Right...
Anyway, I hate unsweetened soy milk. When I was in T&F, I'd always reward myself with a huge packet of Vitasoy after training :)

I tried their much-raved about hot chocolate.
Initially, I was disappointed at the lack of chocolate flavour because I failed to stir the lump of cocoa mixture properly. Thankfully, it was an error on my part. I really enjoyed this drink! It is worth a try, especially if you're a fan of dark chocolate because of its 54% cocoa makeup :)

Do Aussies really enjoy eating hard bread that much?
In my opinion, a tough slab of bread is best accompanied with dips...
Their scrambled eggs were good though I think it'd have been perfect with an addition of mushrooms!

Baked eggs with chorizo
BAKED EGGS ARE SO HEAVENLY!
I definitely busted my cholesterol intake in a single brunch.
(Great to be young and healthy, or so I think :D)

I had to snap a closeup shot of my favourite baked eggs!
Now, you can relish them with your eyes :p

I cooked brown rice with jap curry chicken sometime last week. The health nut in me decided to exclude potatoes and substitute white rice with brown rice :) I haven't been consistent in my efforts to cook a new dish every week because cooking one-pot dishes are less cumbersome!
Shall attempt to cook prawn noodles next week! It's less fun cooking on your own and just for myself. Ang, get your ass here soon...I'm really looking forward to cooking with you! We shall attempt to cook dishes that will make Neo proud of us.
Spring is here but the weather is still so cold, why why why?!

Dinner with Elibird at Kang Na Roo (Clayton)
It was good to catch up over a nice meal after so long :)

I will definitely make a return trip to have their spicy squids again!

Just a friendly reminder for those who are feeling down and out...
And now, it's back to essay writing!
Hope your week at work/school has been progressing smoothly :)
God bless!
Love, Serene
