I'm living my dream everyday.

Meet the finest campus in Aussie (at least in my personal opinion)...

The University of Western Australia!!! :)

Initially, I was a little skeptical when J was raving about how beautiful his campus was and how it reminded him of Harry Potter. Well, I finally had the chance to tour around his university campus when I was in Perth. Gotta admit that I was swept away by its rustic charm and the grandeur of its buildings and pathways! Do state universities always have the nicest building architecture? This observation holds true in Melbourne and Perth!

Chewy put up at his uni hostel this semester.
I'm happy for him as he'll be getting his own private accommodation with his friend from next semester! Goodbye Currie Hall...I will miss drinking the hot chocolate from the Nescafe dispenser in the dining hall ;) I drank at least seven cups during my stay here!!!

Is Nescafe hot chocolate sachets sold in Singapore? Couldn't find it at the supermarkets in Melbourne. It's my favourite hot chocolate in the world!!! Please let me know if you happen to come across a Nescafe hot chocolate product retailing at a local supermarket!

Sometimes, I think it's a pity that J is not enrolled in a culinary course...Hahaha, I'm still getting used to the idea of him being a biz student. It's a big switch from his previous engineering course.

It was painful to pose for this shot...

My campus tour guide!!! :)

To take this photo, I risked losing $120 and my ATM card.
We were walking around his campus and I realised that all my money notes and card had fallen out from my pocket, about 20 minutes after I dropped it when I climbed to stand on this ledge. So we retraced our steps and hurried back to this place and guess what?! My dollar notes were scattered around at different areas...What luck! Although it took us awhile to locate my money and card, I felt like a lucky star! What were the odds of retrieving money that you've dropped awhile ago? PTL!!!

Spiderman Chewy!
This pose looks painful...

I reckon this would have been my faculty if I chose to study in UWA!

This was what I'd initially wanted to study in a local university, but I'm glad that I decided to zero in on journalism instead :) Hope it's a blessing in disguise that I failed the SMU interview. From time to time, I do wonder how my life would have turned out to be if I studied in a local university. However, I have no regrets studying in Melbourne (easy for me to make this statement now that the "ordeal" is over).

Wonderland of love

There is nothing quite as boring as perfection ;)
I'm in love with his imperfect handstands.

J was annoying me to death at this point in time...

Judging from the gorgeous architecture...It's no surprise that many couples have done their wedding shoots here, right? ;)

All in all, I'm glad that J brought me on a tour around his beautiful campus. It'll be easier to visualise his whereabouts in my head, when we're miles apart from each other.

Dinner at Little Caesars

Leederville
127 Oxford Street
Leederville, WA 6007
We visited this popular pizza joint on our final night in Perth :)

Meet Tinghui, who is my primary school friend!
It was a sweet and fun reunion with her and her twin sister in Perth :) They were so nice to go out with me during their examination period!

White Rocks Roast
Mondos famous veal, mozzarella, onion, roasted potato, cream sauce, parmesan, and oregano
Just reading the ingredients is enough to make you salivate right?
THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE SAVOURY PIZZA!

Mediterranean Squid
Squid, garlic, mozzarella, tomato, Kalamata olives, cream sauce and lemon
This was decent too! A must-try for squid lovers :)

The Don
Fremantle sardines, mozzarella, tomato, lemon myrtle, sauce
As much of a fish lover as I am, I didn't quite fancy the overwhelming fishy flavour of the sardines, which didn't sit too well with my taste buds.

Justin's housemate in 2012, menghan!

Mudhoney pizza

This was everyone's favourite dessert pizza!!!
Chocolate mud cake, honey, chocolate sauce, white milk and dark chocolate buttons and icing sugar.
Every chocolate lover gotta try this when they're in Perth!

Hehe, love it when guys do such photo poses on their own accord!
This greedy pose is so...Neo & I & Angsie!

Caramello Sam
Custard, brown sugar, macadamias, almonds, banana, icing sugar, and caramel sauce
This was delicious too, though not as out-of-the-world awesome as the chocolate pizza!

Froyo shop in Perth! We have this franchise in Melbourne too. Unlike Melbourne, froyo shops are uncommon in Perth...Try their lychee and chocolate flavours! Oishii :)

Did I mention that Tinghui & her sis are about the same height as Justin? Haha, I was dwarfed standing and walking next to them...

It feels so good to be back in Singapore!!! :) Gonna revamp my room and I'm trying to convince my Dad to remove the sofa bed (with tonnes of clothes that are stacked sky high on it) from my room so that I can get a chest of drawers instead. My room is in a huge mess and I can't unpack my clothes from three hugeass luggages because my wardrobe currently looks like this:

How am I supposed to fit in another hundred pieces of clothes?

Well, it doesn't help that the festive mood is in the air... I don't feel like packing at all :( Just wanna hang out with my loved ones everyday!

OH WELL.

Have a great weekend guys! Looking forward to meeting everyone soon :)

Love, Serene
